Elaine’s facing a primary runoff on 6/22 against Cal Cunningham for the Democratic noination – the winnier will against incumbent Republican Richard Burr. Marshall has an excellent shot at unseating the freshman Senator Burr, with a recent PPP poll showing her within the margin of error against Burr, trailing by 43% to 42%:
